My name is Louise Capizzo. I live in the Wabanaki territory, between Cascoak and Owascoag, the place of much grass. For many years, I worked as a librarian surrounded by miles of book. I was always heartbroken when, because I had no skill in how to repair them, a beloved book that was damaged was tossed. In 2022, I left the 9-5 world to attend North Bennet Street School's Bookbinding and Conservation program. The two-year program gave me skills to not only know how to repair books, but to make new structures. Contact me if you have books that need repair.
